Hi Everyone
Wednesday 18th Red Apple Donation day.
I'm making a difference by fundraising for Bowel Cancer Australia’s Annual Giving Day, Red Apple Day, a cause that's close to my heart. As most of you know, we lost our beautiful son Jay to aggressive bowel cancer 12 months after his shock stage 4 bowel cancer diagnosis. He had just turned 28 when he passed. We all miss him so much. Please support my efforts by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support.
Funds raised will enable Bowel Cancer Australia to support the best and brightest scientists dedicated to researching early-onset bowel cancer, that has the potential to improve survival and/or help build a path toward a cure. Because we need to find answers as to why the rates of diagnoses and deaths in younger people are on the rise.
Donations made through Go Fundraise are secure and will be remitted directly through to Bowel Cancer Australia.
We really need to find answers as to why this hideous disease is affecting so many young people. We need to educate all ages and find better treatments and hopefully one day, a cure for all bowel cancers and cancer full stop.
Jay would be so grateful to know that we are still making a difference by raising awareness and also funds into research.
Previous years, donations made on the actual Red Apple Day were matched for a limited time. I hope the same happens this year!!!!!
